Pre-purchase Inspection
By far our most popular inspection. Typically a potential buyer orders an inspection to get information on the property and any potential problems prior to closing.
Pre-listing Inspections
Also a popular inspection. The seller will order an inspection prior to listing the property in order to prepare the property, as a service to potential buyers, and so there are no surprises during the transaction.
Green Inspection/Certification
An audit type inspection ordered by homeowners seeking information and advice on their home’s design features, technologies, and products that make the home healthier, more environmentally friendly, and economically smarter. A Green Certification is available for qualifying homes.
Problem Solving Inspections
A recurrent problem such as a leaky roof or basement can be evaluated regarding the performance of the components involved. Suggestions are made on remedial actions.
Component Inspection
For when you are worried about the performance of, or thinking of replacing, your roof, heating system or other component. We can check the performance of these systems and make estimates on whether they are nearing the end of their normal life.
Maintenance Inspections
Another popular inspection where current homeowners order an inspection to ascertain whether normal maintenance has been accomplished, to see if there are any maintenance deficiencies and to check the performance of the systems.
Course of Construction/Progress Inspections
Ordered by homeowners, banks, and insurance companies to check the work and progress of the contractor during the course of construction of a new home or during a renovation project.
Legal Dispute Inspections
Typically ordered by homeowners and attorneys as a documentation measure when there is a problem with contractors, sub-contractors, or other service installation entities.
Warranty Expiration Inspection
Ordered by homeowners and banks in situations where the builder or contractor has offered a warranty on the home which is close to expiring to insure there are no details the builder may be responsible for.
Pre-renovation Inspection
An inspection ordered by a homeowner undertaking a renovation or remodel project to get a better insight on the condition of the home and systems in order to help integrate the project.
Other Inspections
We are currently working to offer a variety of more specialized testing and consultation including radon gas, mold, lead, asbestos, energy efficiency, and LEED certified remodeling and construction. Please contact us for details.
